"If you don't get hit in the head, you've got a future." fantastic. it's sorta my yard stick for good poetry too. can it reach non-poets? can someone who has not studied the ins and outs of poetry hear something in that sparks them, that they connect to? yes? well then you have a knock-out poem. one that hits them in the head instead.
